One word BRILLANT. I love it. I even brought it a snazzy case ror it Its a good size when open and an ideal size when closed. The front sceen is a Helpfull addison showing time date and messages When opening the hinge feeles good and secure not flimsy. The display is clear and thr responsiveness is spot on. I found the battry life is good although i have my phone on a charger dot. I found the dater and everything swiched over from my old phone by itself so quick and easy. The phone is well made, durable, solid piece of accipment to hold. AL input is a usefull addission when needed

Se siente un producto de calidad en construcción aunque echo en falta poder poner la pantalla externa a tu gusto con widgets y aplicaciones. Le falta pulir esas cositas. Las cámaras pueden mejorar ya que son las mismas y no hay una evolución para el precio que tiene el dispositivo. La cámara selfie mejor quitarla para poner esa tan... También podrían haberlas puesto en la parte trasera al igual que el z fold 8 y se aprovecharía mejor su pantalla externa. Y la bateria... Samsung ponte las pilas, qué carga tan lenta para 2026!! Es un producto casi terminado aunque tenga algunas carencias y un precio que no se corresponde.

I’ve had iPhones for a hot minute. I love them. But when I saw the newest Fold they put out, I knew I had to try it. It’s not my first time dual wielding both ecosystems, but I wanted to see how this one would fare against everything I usually do. It’s smooth, it’s easy to use, it’s very customizable. I’m so glad I chose the Z Fold 8.

I absolutely adore this device, it's the nicest phone I've ever had. I've just moved over from about 8 years of pixel ownership and think that I will well and truly stay a Samsung customer as long as the fold 8 style phone is made. It's brilliant form factor, super easy setup, the front display is great for normal phone use and the main screen is amazing for content and multitasking. Build quality is very premium feeling and strong. Hinge is really well built. Amazing battery life, i charged it maybe by 10% yesterday and still had 50% battery at 10:30pm after heavy use all day. I'd recommend this phone to anyone.

I chose to move from the Galaxy S24 Ultra to the Galaxy Z Fold 8. It is my first folding phone and will not be my last. It is a very different experience - the comparative fragility of the device is a concern, as is the downgrade in cameras and most critically the lack of an s pen. If Samsung were to offer the rumored, "Pro" version of the 8 with a telephone and built in s-pen, I think they will have succeeded in producing the most optimal mobile platform to date, bar none. That said, the Fold 8 is a transformative experience when coming from the old slab style phones. The inner display, while prone to scratches, is bright, crisp, nearly crease-less and great for productivity; while the outer display is much more capable than the purely utilitarian use cases I had imagined. If you're fold-curious, this is the phone to try.

I ordered it during the pre launch and have been really impressed with it overall. It’s a great size and surprisingly light. Some of the native apps don’t open perfectly in the current aspect ratio when the phone is closed, but once you open it up and turn it to portrait, it becomes a long, large scrolling page, which I really like. Honestly, I’m a bit tired of manufacturers constantly changing the cameras. I think they should have left this one alone. Lost the 30x zoom. That sucks Overall, it’s a great phone. The size and weight are excellent, and the functionality is really good. Very happy with it so far.

So for those of you who have been rockin smart devices since the days of the Palm, this device brings back memories of my Blackberry Storm as far as size and usability with the front screen. The part that makes it the best device I have used in my decades of smart devices is that it opens to an even larger screen when needed with the perfect aspect ratio both landscape and portrait. I cannot comment on the AI features as I do not use them much, if at all. I am an avid reader with the occasional media consumption along with the day to day multitasking required for my job in education. The Fold 8 is by far the best device I have owned in terms of usability, screen size, visibility, and overall functionality. The software is superb! I cannot say enough about this device. Its compact form and function are what we fold users have been begging for and Samsung listened! It may not be for everybody, but for those of us who have tried it all, this device is pretty perfect. I chose this phone because I like something sleek and compact. I love that when I really get angry with somebody and want to hang up with them. I get the satisfaction of shutting the d*** phone. I love the front screen with all the apps and easy access to things like my text messages or shopping or delivery apps. I love how I can open it up to full screen. And still use it like a regular smartphone. I think this phone is everything you would want in a phone. In fact, I am so excited to see what they come out with next, but I don't like the fold, I like the flip

I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could make both work and everyday life easier. The large screen has been my favorite feature—I can multitask between email, Teams, documents, and other apps without constantly switching screens. When I’m done working, it’s great for streaming, browsing, photos, and catching up on social media. I also love that I can fold it up and use it like a regular phone when I’m on the go. The performance is fast and smooth, and the overall design feels incredibly premium. The Fold8 has quickly become my favorite device I use for almost everything throughout my day! So happy to trade in my flip5 :)

The Z Fold 8 is great to hold and has better accessibility for people with shorter fingers. I have longer hands than many others, and I have no issues reaching every corner of the phone without trying. I have been buying Z Folds for many years, starting with the Z Fold 3, primarily for watching videos and drawing, and when it's unfolded, the phone is a great size and shape for that. I don't multitask on them that much, but the shape definitely makes it better, with each app being able to be wider than it was on the older Folds (and now the Fold Ultra). Would recommend it, especially since it's the cheaper option.

Im so glad I chose this phone! I've had nothing but great experiences with it, and I'm still learning things it can do every day. I love to watch videos and this phone seems built for exactly that. Whether I'm watching the outer screen turned to the side for a quick short video, or need the cinematic experience of the larger inner screen, this device has me covered. When opened and held horizontal for apps like YouTube or vertical for apps like Facebook, the inner surface advantage comes alive. Oh, and I can reach everything with one hand now when it's closed! Can't say enough about the form factor. Great purchase 10 out of 5 stars, I love it.

The size and shape of this phone is unique and this is definitely the best Fold phone to date. The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

I have had the Fold 6 and thought moving to the Fold 7 was an evolution change, but moving to the Fold 8, wow! The size is perfect, it fits into your hand and looks right. Then you open it up and it transforms, pictures, video and books just fit the this screen ratio. The hinge works better than the Fold 7, opening easier and snaps open. The crease I have forgotten about. I didn't notice it on the Fold 7, but the screen is so much better. I never thought the Fold 7 was a slouch but the 8 seems so much more smoother and responsive. One UI 9 has some great improvements and the integration with the AI makes tasks and work flow so much easier.

At just 201g, it's the lightest book-style foldable yet and feels much more pocketable. Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

I chose this let go of my Ultra 23 because I have been wanting a fold forever. The flip felt too small and I have been an Ultra girl since the note series. This phone ferls great in my hand. It feels like a mini book or even like a compact mirror. The screen is responsive. Flips through pages quickly. The colors of my videos, pictures and movies look stunning. I think the sound is louder than my S23 Ultra. My daughter complained it was too loud but not for me, lol. It's a great little phone and I can't wait until I can customize it even more. It's beautiful and sleek. I love the fingerprint sensor on the side. It responds quickly to unlock.

I use my phone for basically everything. I read, surf the internet and play games. My last phone was the s23 ultra for the display size and the CPU was pretty alright. But now I game waaaaay more on my phone when I'm not home and I read a lot more Manga and comics so I felt like I had to chose the fold 8. The compact size of the front is perfect for tiktok and I perfer reading fanfics and books on the front display. Inside is THE PERFECT SIZE FOR MANGA AND COMICS! It is the same size as the paperwhite 12th gen. Only downside is no pen and the inner camera should be more to the corner cause it does mess the menu in a few gacha games like HSR.

The big screen is perfect for watching videos, browsing, and multitasking, while the cover screen is super handy for quick replies and everyday use. Everything runs smoothly, and switching between apps is fast and effortless. The camera also takes great photos with nice detail and vibrant colors. Overall, Samsung has done a great job refining the Fold series. It feels more premium than ever and is definitely a foldable I’d recommend to anyone looking for something unique, powerful, and practical.

I think Samsung nailed it with the Fold8, the size, the hinge mechanism, the screen viewing ration when folded and unfolded, it is impressive and once you get used to it you can't go back to normal phones. Battery capacity is huge and certainly lasts for a full day with constant usage, and the phone form factor is durable but worth investing in a rugged cased to protect such massive investment. Screen is bright and very responsive when folded and unfolded, really love watching videos on this phone, and more importantly choose the right case that support vertical kickstand (not just horizontal) to be sure you are most enjoying the screen view.

While it took a brief adjustment period to get used to the shorter height, I chose this device because it delivers easily the best form factor available. It's wonderfully compact when folded, but unfolding it into a mini tablet completely changes the experience. Videos look fantastic on the inner display, and the anti-reflective screen coating makes a massive difference for visibility. The upgraded faster charging is a welcome quality-of-life improvement, and the cameras are completely sufficient for everyday photos. Most of all, it brought back that genuine sense of excitement for mobile technology that smartphones have lacked for a long time.

I previously had the Z flip 5, which I have had now for three years. I loved having a smaller phone, but I also used it for it's bending capability. I planned on getting the new Z flip 8 but when I saw this model I knew it was for me. It's smaller than average phones, and of course it unfolds to a much larger screen. I've missed having a phone that I could use without opening it. Today was the first full day of using it and I used the front screen to watch some videos and slightly opened the phone so it stood on its own. Absolutely loved it. I will now watch movies on the inside screen and i can't wait. This is such a smart move for Samsung!!!!

Love the phone, glad I purchased it despite the higher cost! Decent battery life and the form factor is amazing. The wider form factor is more suitable for my hands compared to my old Flip7. The hinge durability on the Fold 8 also seems more solid than on the Flip7. However, it is unfortunate that I can no longer keep the phone at any angle to use it as a tripod. Both screens are amazing for my use case. I dont game on the phone so I dont need super quick refresh rates. The two things I would want to make this phone 5/5 would be having a slightly bigger battery/more efficient processor and a telephoto lens

This is my third foldable phone. I used to own galaxy Z fold 2 and Z fold 5. Both were pretty good but this one feels and is even better. For me the size is perfect, you can use the entire phone with a single hand even when you are using it as tablet mode. I think the technology got pretty much improved for the foldable system, it feels smooth when you fold and unfold the phone. Although the cameras are not the ones as the ultra the photos are very good. Also you can see that the battery lasts longer as the previous foldable phones as well as my galaxy s25 ultra. So Big improvement there too. Definitely my best foldable phone so far.

I chose the galaxy z fold 8 and I don't regret it one bit. The keyboard is nice and wide making it hard to type incorrectly. When opened the screen is amazing! Watching Netflix and YouTube on this is seriously impressive. When I want to play games I open it up and now I have a tablet, it really blew my expectations out of the water. I really like that the finger print reader is in the power button it makes more sense to have it there. This phone is way louder than my s26 was. The compact size of this phone when closed should be the new standard, it just feels more natural. I dont see myself ever going back to a candy bar shaped phone ever again.

I am very impressed with the new features of my zfold 8. The form factor makes it easier to use the front display as compared to other previous models. I loved my zfold4 and love my new zfold 8 even more. Thanks again samsung for creating a great phone experience.

I've been intrigued with this form factor since the rumours started and I must say it's perfect for me. The phone is wider than almost every other phone out there but a bit shorter, I was wondering what that would mean when popped into a pocket and to my surprise it's actually more comfortable than a taller phone. I hardly notice that it is there, unlike the taller phones I've had (and I've had a lot of phones). I find myself very happy using the front screen for most of my day to day tasks, only unfolding the phone when I want to watch some videos or have side by side apps visible. This smallish phone that can then double in size (I know that's true for all foldable phones) but feels more convenient and natural both folded and open than every other foldable I've owned. And I've owned a lot of flagship foldables. I did want to talk about software, cameras, AI, battery life etc but I've ran out of space. Just know you don't be disappointed with any of it.

Absolutely fantastic phone. The Z Fold 8 folds, unfolds, and occasionally reminds me that apparently my bank account is also capable of folding. The screen is gorgeous, the performance is ridiculously smooth, and multitasking is so good that I can now procrastinate on three apps simultaneously. Build quality feels premium, cameras are great, and the whole phone screams “I have my life together” which is impressive considering I bought it mainly to show people that it folds. Battery life? It exists. Price? Also exists. Worth it? Absolutely, if you enjoy premium technology and making financially questionable decisions. 10/10. Would fold again. 📱

I chose to shake things up a bit and ditch the traditional candy bar phone for a short and stubby passport style foldable. It's been 3 days and I'm loving all the tweaks and customization available in the new operating system I wish that the phone had different camera placement and included a telephoto lens. I miss the old version of the inner display's selfie camera. A tad intrusive and I don't see any use case. The speaker placement could also be better next iteration because it does not provide stereo sound when in landscape viewing on the inner screen. I wish it was $250 cheaper and I could say it was a good value, but it is a solid device.

Hello Samsung. Just wanted to thank y'all for these new Z FOLDS (8 & 8 ULTRA). Based on what i have seen and felt, if i may make ONLY 2 suggestions. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Make the z fold 9 with the same hinge as the z fold 8 ultra and give it the same camera 200mp. Other than that, I would have boughten the z fold 8 over the 8 ultra due to its size and functionality. I hope this reaches you well and have high hopes for the passport phone (z fold 8) next year. If you make this work....best bet, I WILL be upgrading to this phone for sure as this is what my wife and I really wanted until we found out the hinge, camera, & also battery life. Thanks.

I am loving it so far! I love the size of both displays, and I really like the size of the device in general. The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.
