  • What is cloud gaming?

    Cloud gaming is a type of gaming in which players stream games using data stored on remote servers – also known as "the cloud" – instead of downloading and installing games directly onto their PC or console. Cloud gaming lets players instantly stream their favourite games and reduces the need for high-end hardware. All that's needed is a reliable internet connection to enable streaming.

  • Samsung supports major cloud gaming services, including XBOX Cloud Gaming, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, Antstream Arcade, Blacknut Cloud Gaming and Boosteroid. The availability of supported cloud gaming apps may vary by country.

  • Cloud gaming is supported on select Samsung Smart TV models released in 2022, 2023, 2024,2025 and 2026, though the availability of specific features or services may vary by country and model.

  • Samsung Gaming Hub is free to use on compatible 2022 and newer Samsung Smart TVs. However, cloud gaming on Samsung TV is not always free. Some cloud gaming services available through Gaming Hub require a paid subscription to access their game libraries. Games such as Fortnite can be played through XBOX Cloud Gaming without a paid subscription, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW offers a free tier with limited session length and streaming quality.

  • If your Samsung TV supports cloud gaming, no console is required. Samsung Gaming Hub connects directly to supported cloud gaming services over the internet, so games run on remote servers and are streamed to your TV in real time. This allows you to play without a console or gaming PC. However, certain games may not be available through cloud gaming services, in which case a console may still be needed.

    To access cloud gaming, you will need:
    • A compatible Bluetooth or USB game controller
    • A stable, high-speed internet connection
    • An account or subscription for your preferred cloud gaming service
    • A compatible Samsung TV model released in 2022 or later


    Available cloud gaming services include XBOX Cloud Gaming, NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Amazon Luna.

  • Samsung TVs, whether Micro RGB, OLED, QLED and Neo QLED TV are great for playing XBOX games thanks to cloud gaming, which lets you stream games instantly without needing to download or install them on a console. With cloud gaming, you can access well-known titles easily and quickly by launching the XBOX app and pairing your controller. (* Cloud Service : Certain region only)

    That said, if you're looking for an optimal display, Samsung OLED TVs — like the S95F — are especially well suited for XBOX games, as they provide both high refresh rates and low input lag for smooth, responsive gameplay. Plus, they excel at producing true blacks and sharp contrast, which make dark in-game environments look more immersive and lifelike.
